ImplanTec Extension Table
During hip operations in supine position with an anterior approach, the extension table serves as an accessory for defined leg positioning. The ImplanTec extension table allows the external rotation, extension, hyperextension and adduction required during the operation to be adjusted precisely and smoothly.
The ImplanTec extension table consists of a stable, hard-anodised aluminium structure that can be docked onto all common operating tables. The smooth-running guide ensures that only the desired movements and forces are applied to the patient’s leg. The easy handling and manually controlled operation provide for additional control and safety when performing the necessary movements. Additionally, intra-operative control of the leg length is possible.
